WILDCAT YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP – Wilcat Football… “Win the Day”
When: July 17 – 20, 2017
What: This camp is designed for Boys Entering Grades 4 – 9.
**Fundamentals Camp: 4th & 5th graders will concentrate on all the skills needed to become a better football player. Running, blocking, tackling, ball skills and game play will be emphasized.
**Strategies Camp: 6th & 7th graders will put skills into action using individual, team, and situational practices. Strategies and game play will also be emphasized.
**High School Prep Camp: 8 th & 9th graders will work on skills using a typical high school practice routine. The camper will use individual & special team segments that will culminate in game and tournament play. This is a great camp to get prepared for High School Football!
WELCOME: This Non-padded camp is a four day skill development camp with an emphasis on the skills needed to be a successful football player at any position. In each camp, game and tournament play is included. Emphasis is on teamwork, sportsmanship and FUN!
SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday July 17 th – 20 th 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Verona Area High School Football Fields The daily schedule will include the following: *Stretching / Agility Routine *Skills Contests *Awards *Strength Training *Guest Speakers
STAFF: Dave Richardson – Head Football Coach, the VAHS Football Staff, and current & past football players.
EQUIPMENT *Court/Basketball Shoes *Molded Football Cleats *Athletic Clothes *Snacks / Drinks
NEEDED: *We will offer sports drinks at a low cost *All other equipment will be supplied by VAHS.

Regular Registration – $70.00 May 1 to June 1, 2017
