Despite shooting a season low team score the Verona Boys Golfers were denied the regular season conference title by Middleton in a triangular hosted by Madison East. With the walkover win against East and the loss to Middleton, Verona finishes their conference match schedule with an 8-1 record.

Leading the way for the Wildcats was Austin Gaby with a sparkling 1 under par round of 71. This marked the first time Gaby has gone under par in a competition. Garhett Kaegi fired a 74, followed by Cale Rufenacht at 78, Connor Rufenacht at 79, and Logan Lindell at 83.

The Wildcat JV squad also received a walkover win against East but dropped the decision to the Middleton JV by 3 strokes. This result left the Wildcats JV’ers with a 7-2 conference record. Verona was led by Ryan Mirwald with a solid 78, and Ryan Ritter with an 83. Rounding out the scoring was Jack Bates at 85, Walker Haessig at 86, and Brock Prough at 91.
