Game Recap

Wildcats visited 1st in conference Madison East Tuesday night. Was a well played game against two strong teams. After a midfield battle back and forth neither team was able to produce much offense in the final third to goal. In the 63rd minute Madison East snuck a ball through into Verona’s net to put them up 0-1. The battle continued, but there wasn’t enough time for Verona to find the equalizer. The energy of the game was intense until the end, but the Wildcats fell 0-1 keeping them 2nd in the Big Eight Conference (Pending Middleton’s results) and Madison East in 1st. Verona is 11-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in Conference.
