Meet Recap

In a matchup of 3 of the top teams in the Big 8 Conference the Verona Boys Golf team won one match and lost the other match at the Sun Prairie triangular. The Varsity team scores had Middleton on top with a 322, followed by Verona with 324, and Sun Prairie with 326. The Wildcats varsity moves to a 6-2 record in conference with one dual match remaining.

Garhett Kaegi led the way for the orange and black with a 6 over par score of 78. He was followed by Steven Kellerman with 80. The balance of the varsity team scoring were Will Zunker and Logan Lindell, both with 83, and Jack Bates with 84.

On the JV side of things Verona (team score 354) improved to 8-0 in JV conference standings by beating both Middleton (351) and Sun Prairie (363). The JV squad was led by Austin Gaby with 84, followed by Connor Rufenacht and Ryan Mirwald, both with 86. The final two JV scores were put up by Matt Payne, 91, and Ryan Ritter, 98.
